SPORTS MASSAGE

Sports massage is customized for the athlete.  Your treatment will vary depending on your training goals (pre-event, post-event,off-season or maintenance) your session will include a combination of sport-specific trigger point therapy, circulatory massage, stretching and joint mobilization.

Whether you're a weekend warrior, competitor or youth athlete, sports massage can give you the performance edge.

The following therapists specialize in sports massage.  Kata Garrison offers cupping at our Shoreview office.

Jon-Martin Kahnke, Maple Grove

Specializing in Trigger Point Therapy for endurance and strength.

As a high-school athlete, Jon-Martin was determined to learn everything he could about "getting big" and being better.  This evolved into a massage career focused on anatomy and movement.  Jon-Martin uses trigger point therapy to help active people break the performance barriers caused by muscular tension and reduced range of motion.

His detailed approach ensures the best performance results in the fewest sessions. Endurance and strength athletes routinely seek his help to maintain range of motion, relief from over-use injuries and pre/post event massage.
